Attend his kingdom hall to get names of members then get their addresses and mail them letters with copies of the Newsweek article on the Watchtower-mandated coverup of pedophiles. You can inform the other people even if he will just ignore these scriptures. Tell them you just came out of curiosity or to observe, not to join. Don't pose any hard questions or anything, just get their names, addresses, phone numbers. Go visit another hall or two and do the same. As people learn the real truth maybe only 3-6 out of 100 will quit the WTS but 70-90% will stop donating as much money to the Watchtower Society, and some of those may also quit later. See?

he's the elder that performed the marriage between my wife and i. a couple of days ago he happened to see her and had her give me the message to give him a call.
i still like/love the man as a man, so talking to him is not a problem.. i suggested we meet in a restaurant around the corner from his house.

i had postponed my da'ng to spend months (many sleepless) gathering research to help "rescue" my jw friend of 26 years.

BIRTHDAYS, THE REAL AND "JOYFUL" TRUTH: Some teach that birthdays are not for mature Christians because of pagan origin while ignoring that wedding rings and celebrations, calendar months, names of days, money, metals and other things that came before Christianity and even Judaism are not acceptable because also invented by pagans.
Birthday detractors also say Pharoahs baker and John the baptizer were killed at birthday celebrations so God disapproves of the celebrations. This is also false because, for one thing, if you read Job 1:3, 3:1,3 you will see Job's own children enjoyed birthday parites. You must read all three verses to see that birthdays are definitely meant.
Further, 1 Kings 9:16 shows that many people were killed when a later Pharoah captured the city of Gezer to give it to his daughter who had wed King Solomon, and yet those opposed to birthdays do not oppose the giving of gifts even though people died on that occasion. The apostle Paul says at Romans 14:1-5 and Colossians 2:16 that if Christians do or do not celebrate Sabbaths or any other holy days is not a critical matter for salvation but that mature Christians do indeed allow freedom to differ in views on such things.
Nor is celebrating birthdays somehow giving undue honor or worship to an imperfect human creature. Instead it shows appreciation that the Creator gave life to a child, honors the parents who helped bring the child to life, and imparts joy to all who participate at the celebration. Truthfully, how many children ever feel that when their parents hold a birthday party for them, their doing so is some form of worship? And how many parents actually think that they worship their kids when giving them birthday parties?
Joy is good and all good things are from God Almighty. In fact Galatians 5:22 says that true Christians abound with the positive fruits of Gods Spirit which include love, joy, peace etc. Also note that Christ says take the narrow road to life which is not one confined to a set of narrow-minded rigid joyless views but one that is narrowly, intently focused upon kindness toward others. Reading all of Matthew 7 enables a better appreciation that this is the real truth.
Please feel free to make and share copies of this publication so that others will also know the Real Truth about birthdays being 100% acceptable for Christians. Why do they go back?

this morning i heard yet another story.
a few years ago and elder's wife in my former uk congregation abruptly left the organization, surprising everyone and getting a big df in the process.

All true, Josephus. As you point out most readers assume you can't change a thing when in fact if you pump letters into a congregation revealing the pedophile scandal, the UN link, etc of the WTS, it does cause some to quit giving the WTS money, and some do also quit the whole WTS. You yourself have put books exposing the WTS into libraries or the hands of people, which also works. Folks, if you will do some of this you will liberate the WTS of some of its money and its membership. Depending on how well you do it and how often, it can mount up to a lot. I've done it and seen it done. It works. Don't let your own automatic negativity or that which the pro-WTS people offer up to stop you.

the man was a young adult, in good standing, married and doing well financially.
i can't reveal more, and this one didn't hit the news either.

Some of the suicides there in the state have odd things about them that beg the question of if they were murders arranged to look like suicides. I'm not saying that is the case, but it looks strange.

M, why such a concentration of suicides among JWs in Washington state? Next to your state it seems like California is next in having the most. Any guesses as to why?

I agree. It appears things like this have been staged before by the Watchtower Society. The idea appears to be to make the Watchtower Society look like the good guys who are being persecuted. Obviously they have gotten lots of bad press over wanting Shunned Father's daughter to not get emergency blood transfusions and so die. Ditto over their abetting pedophiles. Now it looks like they are going to extremes to polish the tarnished image by staging this phony alarm. Shame on them!
